Come see the world premiere of this new concept in educational entertainment. Ron Sunshine brings his 10-piece orchestra from New York City to the Allentown JCC to play all new arrangements of depression-era jazz standards written by immortal Jewish songwriters like Irving Berlin, Rodgers & Hart, George & Ira Gershwin and others. Meanwhile, world-renowned ethnomusicologist Judah Cohen will be on hand to tell the stories behind the songs, the songwriters, in between live musical numbers.
