Dear Ron,
Jonathan and I are back from our honeymoon and wanted to thank you, Madeleine Peyroux, and the rest of your band for such an extraordinary evening.
We have been to so many cookie-cutter weddings, and we really wanted to throw a party that stood out, and didn’t feel like a wedding we had already been to. We wanted sophisticated, yet fun, and you delivered that and more.
Your musicians are really talented, and the music you guys played was extremely danceable. And as a band leader, you couldn’t be a better presence (not to mention the hot harmonica playing!).
Then there’s Madeleine Peyroux. Hard to say enough about her except to say that it was an honor to have her sing at our wedding.
So Ron, thank you and Full Swing for exceeding all our expectations. Jonathan and I are pretty tough critics and we think you guys are just the best. Please feel free to use us as a recommendation.

What can I say? You made one of the most important days of our lives into one of the most fun days of our lives. Here’s what you should know:
You looked fantastic. All of you.
Your timing was incredible— the perfect songs at the perfect time.
You were— the whole band— just so nice; we felt we had 7 more friends at the wedding, not just a band. And you were great to Andy. [friend of groom’s who sang with band]
You sounded completely, totally phenomenal. Do you know how many people of all ages told me our wedding was the best they’d ever been to? You had plenty to do with that. Did you know the people who work at the resort, who put on a wedding a weekend, were still buzzing about it the next day? That the bartender actually called up a buddy and held up the phone so a friend could hear you??

What can we say!?! You guys were absolutely fantastic at our wedding celebration party. Personally, I could not sit down even to eat because I had to dance. So many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed your music. Anthony and I could not have been happier with the music and we just wanted to say thank you again. Fabulous! Your band was exceptional. Record rainfall, a leaking tent, a fire alarm, and power outages would have unraveled most performers (and parties!) but not you. You didn’t miss a beat. Mother Nature threw everything she had at us, and a dismal outcome could easily have resulted. Instead, we had a fantastic party — unique and memorable. Your performance was critical to the success of our day. You sounded fantastic, even after we lost power. We loved your “unplugged” performance. Was it a first?! We have since received numerous compliments on your band. Many people said that Full Swing was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. We agree. We would gladly serve as a reference for Ron Sunshine and Full Swing should the need ever arise. Meanwhile, we await the release of your CD.
